Music Programs

   ~ Elevated Musical Education ~

Higher Octave Music offers a fresh new series of programs evolving over my forty-six-year career as a professional music educator, performer, composer and recording artist. My priority  continues to be to meet the needs of the ever-changing music environment and the diverse abilities of my music students. I have noticed an emerging paradigm of learning having little to do with the traditional model of teaching musical notation to learn the language of music. Since I was steeped in the classical model of intense study, practice, and performance in high school and college, I realize this might not meet the needs of today’s music student. For that reason, I continually track and modify my teaching and coaching style and techniques for each student.

My new format, offers eight unique musical options including traditional coaching and instruction in piano, voice, theory, composition, etc. along with more innovative and spiritually focused Sound Healing. Each program is personally designed with a culmination of an event of their choosing, organizing a performance event, upon completion to show accountability.

The “Three Pearls of Learning” are the main requirements of any successful music student:
Love of music
Desire to learn
Commitment to practice

Higher Octave Music Program offers trainings in:

  • Vocal Coaching

  • Traditional Piano or Suzuki Piano coaching

  • Music Theory

  • Composition - Songwriting
