Meet Lisa

About Me

I have had a passion for music, education, and nature all my life. I started singing when I was three and loved hosting Talent Shows in my backyard with neighborhood kids. For decades I have loved sharing what has been growing within me as an author, educator, and composer.

Music is my lifeblood. I love music. Even though practicing the piano felt laborious as a child, over the years, I see now the Pot of Gold at the Rainbow’s End. I love working with all ages as a music educator, whether singing, playing piano, performing, composing, or doing sound healing. I love working with children, whether, in public or private education, Charter or Montessori based.

I have a deep love affair with Nature, and it is my sacred sanctuary. I love learning and sharing what I have learned from extraordinary mentors and teachers, connecting through hiking, guiding Land Journeys, and sharing regenerative garden wisdom.

My life journey began exploring nature as a child and has brought me to this spectacular summit in my life with the recent publication of my new children’s book, A SONG AND STORY OF MAGIC MOUNTAIN. This story is about a talking mountain who goes to sleep because people stop coming to listen to his stories. This literary adventure is about waking up, having a special way of listening and about the beauty of nature in a changing world.

I love sharing what has grown into a complete, unique educational program designed for music educators, home-schooling parents and educational program directors. Synthesizing decades of research, study, educational, and artistic experience, this program is now available as a Teacher Curriculum for Art, Music, and Outdoor Education, a companion Activity-Coloring Book and a Musical all designed for Pre-K – 5th grades.

I love teaching, and as shared by a friend, “Just give Lisa a topic, and she can teach it.”

As an educational consultant, I love guiding teachers and am 150% available to walk side by side through the creative portals of optimal performance.
